Viola Lessons

About Viola Lessons (Ages 5+) 

Viola lessons are scheduled weekly in 30, 45, or 60 minute increments. We accept beginner, intermediate, and advanced students with a wide variety of musical backgrounds. Viola students will study a range of repertoire, preparing them for performance in orchestral, chamber, and solo settings. Whatever your focus may be, our string teachers will help you achieve your goals! 

Viola Lessons for Beginners

Our teachers will introduce beginners to their instrument with a structured, hands-on approach. Viola students will gain a strong musical foundation by learning instrumental technique, how to read music, as well as building music theory and ear training skills.

Students will work through various method and technique books to further hone their musical skills.

Most importantly, our teachers make learning fun for students of all ages!

Viola Lessons for Intermediate and Advanced Students

While building on your preexisting knowledge, our teachers will expand your technique and repertoire by learning more challenging pieces and theoretical approaches.

Intermediate and advanced string students will delve deeper into music theory, eurythmics, and baroque and contemporary repertoire.

Whether your goal is to enter a competition, audition for collegiate programs, or further advance your skills, our teachers will do what it takes to help you achieve them! 

Viola Lessons for Adults

As an adult student, we know your time is valuable. We make sure our adult students spend their time learning the music they love. Whatever you want to learn on your string instrument, we’re here to help!
